Oppo Reno 7 series started its pre-order in Malaysia on 22 February 2022. Oppo Reno 7 series is a good option if you’re looking for an impressive camera, pro system, stylish design, and excellent performance smartphone. This is the premium mid-range series supported by MediaTek processors with 5G.
Color and Design Oppo Reno 7 series
The Reno 7 is available in Startrails Blue and Starry Black. On the other hand, Reno 7 Pro is offered in Starlight Black and Stairtrails Blue. There is a special part is the illuminating ring around the camera module. It shines when you’re charging your phone or you’re receiving a notification. Besides, Oppo Reno 7 Pro uses a flat-edge design and the chamfered edges are not sharp so it will not hurt your hand. Also, the phone is not too large and is light so you can hold it easily.
Display Oppo Reno 7 series
The Oppo Reno 7 uses a 6.4 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate to support the device. Oppo Reno 7 runs a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 900. Also, it’s mated to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM which is expandable via a microSD card.
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro still uses a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, such as Oppo Reno 6 series to support the device. In addition, Oppor Reno 7 Pro runs on a flagship-class 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200-MAX processor that’s mated to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. You can extend up to 7GB of extra RAM if you need it.
Camera
The Oppo Reno 7 uses a triple camera which includes a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro lens. It is similar to the Reno 7 Pro, it also gets a 32MP selfie camera. Oppo Reno 7 Pro also uses a triple-camera which includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 1/1.56″ main camera to support it. Therefore, it can take a good picture either in daylight or in a lowlight situation. Besides, it is also supported by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The third shooter on the back is a 2MP macro camera that’s also quite pointless. In addition, Oppo Reno 7 Pro used a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie shooter.
Battery
For the battery for Oppo Reno 7 series, both of these devices get a 4500mAh battery and it supports Oppo’s 65W SuperVOOC Fast charging through USB-C. You can just charge 35 minutes to get a 100% charge on the Oppo Reno 7 Pro. Besides, both of these devices are supported by high-speed 5G connectivity which supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. Also, both of these devices run on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 skin on top.
