Several of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra users had reported that there are some bugs on Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The problem is the Galaxy S22 Ultra display showed a pixelated line that horizontally through the entire display. Some of the users reported that it intermittently appears and stay for a few second but some of the users reported that it may appear when they touched the display.
There was a Samsung Galaxy S22 user on Reddit who experienced the same issue posted a screenshot of a comment from Samsung. The comment said that Samsung company had already developed a patch. Besides, they will be rolled out a software update to fix this issue.
However, before the software update is rolled out, Samsung company also give some suggestions for the Samsung Galaxy S22 users. First, you can keep the QHD+ resolution but switch it into Vivid color mode or switch to the lower FHD+ resolution to temporarily solve the problem.
The reports showed that this issue only affects the version of the phone which uses the Exynos 2200 chipset. Nowadays, we still don’t know if this issue will bother the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S22 Ultra which will be released in Malaysia. The first batch of the variant will be shipping to the US on 25 February 2022. On the other hand, if you had pre-ordered during period A in Malaysia, you can collect your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra starting from 3 March 2022.
There was not an accurate timeline of when the Samsung company will be available to release the software update. However, Samsung Galaxy S22 series is the top-end model so the company may bring the update as soon as possible.
