Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Fold 3 Size
The size of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much shorter than Galaxy Z Fold 3, but Galaxy Z Fold 2 got much wider than Galaxy Z Fold 3. The design concept of both phones looks more like a book-style because it can fold into to area. The vertical size of Galaxy Z Fold 3 gives the advantage for a large internal display. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Fold 3 Display
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a 6.23-inch external display with a resolution of 2260 x 816 pixels on the front, and a 7.6-inch display with a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels when folded.
The foldable dynamic AMOLED display is HDR10+ certified and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device’s outer cover display is AMOLED, however, it has a conventional 60Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 features a 6.23-inch display on the exterior with a resolution of 2268 x 832 pixels, and a 7.6-inch display on the interior with the same resolution as its predecessor, 2208 x 1768 pixels. This time around, both panels have a 120Hz refresh rate, and the larger monitor supports HDR10+.
Aside from the refresh rate, the top of the primary display is where the two devices vary. In comparison to the punch hole camera on the Z Fold 2, the Z Fold 3’s main folding display incorporates an under-display camera. The Z Fold 3, like the Z Fold 2, has a punch hole camera on the front display.
The S Pen is also supported by the Z Fold 3. The S Pen isn’t incorporated into the Galaxy S21 Ultra like it is in the Note series, and Samsung has created an S Pen particularly for foldable without Bluetooth connectivity.
Hardware and Specs
The snapdragon of Galaxy Z Fold 3 is much bigger than Galaxy Z Fold 2, but the battery is a bit lower than Galaxy Z Fold 2. Galaxy Z Fold 3 provides Snapdragon 888, but Galaxy Fold 2 only provides Snapdragon 865. The battery of Galaxy Z Fold 3 is 4400mAh, meanwhile Galaxy Z Fold 2 is 4500mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has several design improvements over its predecessor, namely in the camera housing on the back, but also in terms of waterproofing and a stronger frame. It also includes a hardware upgrade, camera enhancements are to the rear cameras and the addition of an under-display camera on the main display. The battery capacity is reduced in comparison to the Z Fold 2, while the display specs remain unchanged, with the exception that the Z Fold 3 supports the S Pen and has a higher refresh rate on the cover display.
