Huawei is releasing the Huawei P50 Pocket, a new foldable device, only a few days before Christmas.

On the 23rd of December 2021, at 08:30 CET (3:30 pm Malaysian time), the P50 Pocket will be released. According to the teaser image, it will be available in two colors. It’s possible it’ll feature a dual-tone design, similar to Samsung’s Bespoke edition. Apart from the new foldable device, we expect Huawei to unveil additional goods at the same time, such as the Huawei Watch D.

Huawei’s next foldable device is said to be named the Mate V, and photographs of the alleged case have been leaked online in the last week. It has a two-piece structure with two big cutouts for the P50 series’ enormous “dual-camera” hump.
There are currently no hardware specifications available, but we expect it to retain many of the same features as the Huawei P50 series, notably the camera. The P50 Pro comes with a quad-camera system that contains a 50MP main camera, a 40MP mono camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera with a 100x digital zoom capability.
China introduced the Huawei P50 series in July, and the Pro model is available with both a Kirin 9000 and a Snapdragon 888 processor. The Huawei P50 Pro, which features a Snapdragon 888 processor, will be available in Malaysia very soon. However, according to the official product page, it will not have Google Mobile Services and will not enable 5G.
