But the Siri shortcut “I’m getting pulled over by police” can help providing a proof of your version of events in the unlikely scenario that something unexpected happens during a police interaction.
How does this Apple Siri Shortcut work?
By saying “Hey Siri, I’m getting pulled over” to your phone, the shortcut will automatically turn on the front-facing camera and start recording video. It will also lower the brightness of your phone and lower down the volume. Also, it turn off music and go into automatic “Do Not Disturb” mode. Plus, it will sends a pre-set message and send to one of your contacts so they know where you are and what is happening.
How to set up this Apple Siri shortcut?
Here’s how you can set up the shortcut. First, you have to install the Shortcuts iOS app.
Then go to Settings > Shortcuts > and switching on Allow Untrusted Shortcuts. Once you do that, download the I’m Getting Pulled Over shortcut here. Then in the Shortcuts app, go to Gallery and find the I’m Getting Pulled Over shortcut by scrolling down. Click Add Untrusted Shortcut. Please be advise that you need to run the shortcut once before you use the shortcut fully.
