If you haven’t heard, the OnePlus is preparing to release a new phone called the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone will be available in China on 11th January 2022.
Parts of the design and some main specifications have been revealed previously. Now, the business has unveiled some of the camera’s functions. It’s reasonable to assume that its design is for more experienced-level creators.
OnePlus emphasize color calibration and processing, and they will take a step further with the 10 Pro.
The new phone’s cameras will be able to shoot RAW+ photos with 10-bit color capability. It means the 10 Pro is able to capture over one billion colors. According to OnePlus, that’s almost 64 times more color recorded than the OnePlus 9 Pro and it’s supported by all three cameras.
The three cameras are a main, ultrawide, and telephoto zoom, with the ultrawide receiving the most attention in the next phone. The new ultrawide sensor can record photos with a field of view of up to 150 degrees, which is far broader than traditional ultrawide and allows you to fit more into the frame.
Furthermore, if you want to be a little more creative, there’s a Fish-Eye function that simulates the effect of a Fish-Eye lens. Whether it’s any good or not remains to be seen; it might be another one of those classic OnePlus features that many will dismiss as a gimmick that’ll only be entertaining for a few days.
With its upcoming camera, OnePlus isn’t simply seeking to impress still photographers. A new movie option has been added, which may be ideal for videographers.
Movie mode allows you to alter ISO, shutter speed, and other settings, as well as film in LOG mode without a pre-set color profile, allowing you to color correct in post-production.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be launching in Malaysia on 28th January 2022. We’ll get a closer look at everything OnePlus hasn’t told us yet.
