For those on a tighter budget who want the Pixel experience, it appears like we’re finally getting a first look at what the future Pixel 6a may look like.
We have a leaked source from OnLeaks and 91 Mobiles that provide us with some information. It provides us with a clear look at the smartphone’s design and physical characteristics.
Google Pixel 6a characteristics
The fact that the phone appears to follow the design language of the Pixel 6 is the first thing that sticks out. With the distinctive camera hump stretching over the back of the phone, you get what seems to be a sleek two-tone rear design. It is good to look as it’s also elevating like the rest of the Pixel 6 family. There appears to be a dual-camera configuration with a flash on the far right in that camera module.
If the rumors are correct, the phone will have a 6.2-inch display, making it somewhat smaller than the ordinary 6.4-inch Pixel 6. There’s also a punch-hole selfie camera in the center of the screen, which is exactly where it should be. The absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack is also noticeable, implying that the Pixel 6a will join the new Samsung smartphones like the latest mid-range handsets to do away with this obsolete connector.
Google Pixel 6a’s specifications
Aside from that, not much more has been revealed regarding the Pixel 6a’s specifications. Google believes that the phone will also be powered by Google Tensor. If the leak is accurate, it is excellent news given that it is a flagship-class processor. If this is correct, the Pixel 6a appears to be a worthy advance over the Pixel 5a, which only has a Snapdragon 765G processor.
