1.0 Agreement Overview:
1.1 These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) govern the repair services provided by SmartPhone Repair-SPR (“SPR Communication Sdn Bhd”) for smartphones, tablets, and associated accessories (“Device”).
2.0 General Repair Terms:
2.1 This Agreement shall commence upon the engagement of SPR Communication Sdn Bhd’s repair services by the customer. By engaging with our repair services, you are automatically deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to abide by these terms until the completion of repairs and settlement of any outstanding payments.
2.2 SPR Communication Sdn Bhd will exert due diligence in repairing the Device, subject to parts availability and applicable warranty terms, ensuring utmost care and expertise throughout the process.
2.3 We offer a variety of spare parts for repairs, allowing customers to choose based on their preferences and budget constraints. While we strive to maintain quality standards across our offerings, customers have the flexibility to select parts that best suit their needs. We ensure transparency in presenting available options, enabling customers to make informed decisions regarding the parts used in their device repairs. Should you have specific preferences or quality requirements, please communicate them with our team, and we will accommodate your preferences to the extent possible. Your satisfaction and confidence in our services are our top priorities.
2.4 In certain cases, to conduct thorough diagnostics and testing, it may be necessary to dismantle certain parts of the device. This process allows us to accurately identify and address any underlying issues affecting the device’s functionality. Additionally, to ensure comprehensive testing, SPR Communication Sdn Bhd may require access to the passcode of the Device. This access enables us to perform thorough assessments and verify functionality after repairs.
However, we understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of our customers’ personal information. Should you prefer confidentiality, an alternative arrangement can be made. However, please note that this may result in potential delays in testing as we may need to explore alternative methods or seek your assistance in providing necessary access.
Rest assured, we will prioritize your privacy and security while striving to deliver efficient and effective repair services. Your satisfaction and trust are paramount to us, and we are committed to accommodating your preferences while ensuring the quality and integrity of our diagnostics and repair processes.
2.5 Estimated repair completion times are provided for guidance only and are not binding. Complex repairs may require extended timeframes, particularly those involving motherboard-level issues.
2.6 While we take every precaution to safeguard your data during repair services, SPR Communication Sdn Bhd shall not be held responsible for any loss of data that may occur during the repair process. Customers are advised to back up all important data prior to submitting their device for repair. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the security and integrity of their data, including but not limited to personal files, photos, contacts, and applications. By engaging with our repair services, you acknowledge and accept that SPR Communication Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any data loss incurred during or as a result of the repair process.
2.7 Once repairs are completed, SPR Communication Sdn Bhd will promptly notify you for Device collection. Devices not collected within a reasonable timeframe will be securely stored for future collection, with reminders issued as necessary. Unclaimed devices may be recycled after 90 days.
2.8 Any unforeseen challenges or additional costs encountered during repair will be communicated promptly. In cases where revised estimates are declined or no fault is identified, the Device will be returned unrepaired.
2.9 Repair costs will be determined based on prevailing standard charges.
2.10 SPR Communication Sdn Bhd reserves the right to retain the Device until all charges are settled, with storage fees applicable if necessary.
2.11 The use of SPR Communication Sdn Bhd’s repair services may void manufacturer warranties. Customers are advised to consult the manufacturer directly for warranty-related inquiries.
2.12 Warranty seals installed post-repair serve as protection; tampering will invalidate SPR Communication Sdn Bhd’s warranty.
2.13 Our products and repair services are governed by specified warranty terms.
2.14 Warranty coverage is tied to the Device’s unique identifier (IMEI or serial number) and customer records in our system, covering original faults and replaced/repaired parts. Accidental damage and ownership transfers are not covered.
2.15 SPR Communication Sdn Bhd is not liable for issues stemming from previous repairs or undisclosed pre-existing conditions. Any newly discovered issues will be promptly communicated to the customer.
2.16 Liquid damage repairs carry inherent risks; SPR Communication Sdn Bhd assumes no responsibility for further damage or irreparable consequences.
2.17 Ongoing monitoring of the Device post-liquid damage repair is recommended, as unforeseen issues may arise.
2.18 Additional issues related to liquid damage during the Warranty period will be re-evaluated and re-quoted. Alternatively, partial refunds may be offered.
2.19 Waterproofing or resistance following repair cannot be guaranteed.
These terms and conditions reflect our commitment to providing quality repair services while ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction. Should you require further clarification or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
3.0 Liability:
3.1 Our entire liability in respect of any single cause of action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement (whether for breach of contract, tort, including negligence, statute or otherwise at all) shall be limited, to the extent that the cause of action related to our supply of the Services, at our exclusive option to: (a) supplying the Services again; (b) payment of the cost of having the Services supplied again; or (c) repaying you any amount that you have paid in respect of the Services.
3.2 If your Device is damaged beyond economical repair as a direct result of a service or repair undertaken by Smart Phone Repair Communication, you are entitled to a fully functional refurbished device of equal value to your Device, based on its model and condition as received and with the original repair issue resolved. In order to receive a replacement device, full payment must have been received for the repair service and the relevant damaged device must be surrendered to Smart Phone Repair Communication.
3.3 Any data or information that you may have stored on the Device shall remain your sole responsibility and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data however caused and we therefore highly recommend that you back up your Device onto an external drive prior to commissioning our Service. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
3.4 Nothing in this clause 3 shall apply so as to limit or exclude our liability for: (a) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence; (b) breach of any terms implied by statute; (c) any claim arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or (d) fraudulent misrepresentation.
3.5 In no circumstance shall we be liable to you for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, including any loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated saving, goodwill or any other indirect or consequential loss or damage of whatsoever nature howsoever arising.
3.6 We shall not be liable for any claim arising under this Agreement unless you give us written notice of the claim within three months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to the claim or, if earlier, three months from the time you ought reasonably to have become aware of such circumstances.
4.0 Data Protection:
4.1 We ask for your name and address and the other details so that we can notify you when your Device has been repaired and provide you with an efficient after-sales service. We may also send you text messages and/or emails from time to time to alert you to new services and promotions. By signing the T&C and using these Services you consent to our use of your personal information as described.
5.0 Summary Points:
5.1 Use of our repair service will void your manufacturer’s warranty.
5.2 Any data or information that you may have stored on the Device shall remain your sole responsibility and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data however caused and we therefore highly recommend that you back up your Device onto an external drive prior to your repair.
5.3 We do not take responsibility for any progression in damage for Devices that have been damaged by liquid. Although unlikely, opening the Device could set off further damage and in some cases may be very serious and irreparable.
5.4 We shall offer 1-month warranty for liquid damage repairs. Should your Device display any more issues relating to the liquid damage during this period, we will re-assess and re-quote for the work needed.
5.5 We do not take responsibility for any progression in damage where your Device has been repaired elsewhere prior to your repair at Smart Phone Repair Communication. Should any issues become evident, once the device is opened, we will contact you immediately via telephone/email. [Examples of this may include missing screens and torn flex cables.]
5.6 At all times we will do our utmost to deliver on the quoted turn-around time, but in some incidences, for reasons out of our control, this cannot always be guaranteed. Our quoted repair times start when the technician begins the repair.
5.7 The warranty term included with your repair is detailed in 2.12 above. If the Device develops an additional fault unrelated to the original repair, the repair warranty contained in this paragraph will not apply. The warranty includes the repaired/replaced part(s) only and does not include further accidental or liquid damage to these parts. If your device is repaired by a 3rd party after our service, your warranty with Smart Phone Repair will be voided.
6.0 Website Terms & Conditions:

The term ‘Smart Phone Repair Communication’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

6.11 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysia Courts.
